When is the Art Show on?

Opening Night Gala is 7-10pm Friday 8th November 2024 – There will be music, and food and drinks can be purchased from the bar. Art Show open gallery weekend:

  • Saturday 9th November 10am – 5pm
  • Sunday 10th November 10am – 4pm

Will the Birregurra Festival be held on the same weekend as Art Show?

Instead of hosting the Birregurra Festival, our community is putting on a series of events over many months under the banner "Meet me in Birre". We are pleased that the Art Show in November is part of this exciting program. On Saturday and Sunday, 11 & 12th November, the bustling Birregurra Markets will be held in the park opposite the Art Show venue. Find out more at www.meetmeinbirre.com

How can I enter my artworks into the Show?

Entries will open on Friday, 23 August 2024 and close on Sunday, 20 October 2024, or earlier if capacity is reached. So be quick to apply! Once applications are open, you find the entry form on our website under "APPLY".

Make sure to pay the applicable entry fee to complete your registration. Once we have received your form and entry fee, we will send you a confirmation. Please allow for a few days.

How are the prizes awarded?

Each year, a judge is appointed to award the 1st and 2nd prize in each category as well as the highly coveted “Best in Show” prize. Winners will be announced during the Opening Night Gala and those artists will be notified by telephone. There will also be a selection of “Highly Commended” artworks and a "People’s Choice" award. A new prize for "Best Artwork by a Young Artist" has been added in 2023. Artists must be 25 years or under to be eligible.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets for the opening night will be on sale from mid-October. Tickets for the gallery on weekend days can be purchased at the door.

Opening Night Gala: $20 pp (allows entry all weekend); Art Show weekend: $5 pp / under 14 – free

Will I be able to buy the art, and how can I purchase it?

All artwork will be for sale from the Opening Night Gala and throughout the weekend. Purchases can be made using credit card.

How can I collect the artwork I have purchased?

Purchasers will be able to collect the artwork on Sunday, 10th November from 4-6pm. Be sure to bring your receipt with you.

We are unable to provide wrapping materials/wrapping service for purchased artwork.
